I’m not furnishing a million dollar office, just my studio at home. I don’t need to spend $200 on a silly chair, I just want something comfortable for my desk.

You can try looking at Target or Office Max. They may have inexpensive chairs for you to purchase. Stareyes

Sometimes, believe it or not, Walgreens or CVS has some. Otherwise Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Office Supply stores, etc. Isabela

ikea has cheap ones, but i don’t find them comfortable. i got a comfy one from office depot for about $80. try them out in store then order online using a coupon code (you get free shipping if it’s over $50 or $25 anyway). Pookie

You can get one at any of the big office stores (office max, office depot, staples) starting around $39. Good luck getting any service though. My horror story with these jerks is linked below. I posted it on craigslist. qmstr725

I bought a nearly new leather office swivel on
for only $30 The guy was going to California from Ohio.

Craigs list is from locals wanting to rid of stuff. Usually cheap and pick up only. James M

Office max just had a sale. I got two decent full size “managers” chairs for $49.00 choice of faux leather or fabric. Replaced the one I trash picked five years ago. That’s another idea, I see them on the curb all the time. Next trash night in your area go look around I bet you find one. Jungleboy

Believe it or not, I found a really nice one at a local Goodwill for $10, so I’d try local thrift shops. In our area, we also have an office second-hand shop, so maybe see if your area has one. febronia316

There are second hand office furniture companies that sell chairs, desks etc,. in good shape for good prices. Or, if you have a Home Goods near you, you can probably find something not so “officey” looking, but will suit the purpose, and be under your budget. Or, go to a Salvation Army store, consignment furniture store, etc., Carla F
