What is the difference between unfurnished & furnished apartments?

Furniture - furnished apartments come with furniture and unfurnished apartments have no furniture. Steve D
A studio furnished apartment *may* come with table, 2 chairs, coffee table, 2 end tables, 1 lamp and a sofa bed. the tax lady
The one is furnished, and, therefore usually more expensive, the other is the opposite. Mary H
