What exactly am I going to need to furnish a bedroom?
Amy M asked:
I don’t want to paint or buy carpeting. I am trying to write a list of the things I should get but I just keep drawing a blank. So far I just know I want a day bed, chaise, and something to store clothing in. What else is needed/desired?

What style of painting did Bourguereau paint in and the characteristics of the style?
amapelenohea asked:
I am doing a paper on William Bourguereau and cannot find information on whether he is a NeoClassical painter, Romantic painter or otherwise and the specific characteristics to back up his art technique to the style.

What’s the worst home decorating experience you have had?
Z asked:
By that, I mean the tackiest paint (hurts-the-eyes pink walls with bright red baseboard trim), wallpaper (read: fuzzy green patterns on gold coloured curlicue somethings), carpets, furnishing or colour combination you have ever seen.
WoW! All of these answers are marvellous! My father had absolutely zero taste in anything even remotely civilized. When we moved into a house we bought (long ago when I was young), the kitchen came already “decorated” with wallpaper featuring huge yellow flowers, lime green leaves and orange squiggly something or others. My father liked it - a lot! The family room came with a low pile dark brown, yellow, green and orange geometric patterns that would make a goat retch! I asked this question because I was having coffee with a friend of mine a little while ago and she was describing how she was planning on dcorating her new place. She described how her last place looked and it sounds a lot like what most of you have written. It’s nice to know I’m not the only one who has had to endure ghastly home decor!

gemba253 asked:
Myself and my boyfriend are about to move into our first flat together and now that we’ve paid the deposit and got all the paint, we are left with very little money for furnishings so i was wondering if anyone living in the west midlands area has anything we could buy cheap, we would greatly appreciate anything you have to offer.
sorry don’t mean to sound forward, but i have a whole flat to furnish in just two days!!

All the houses are red and blinking?
katiebmom asked:
I have tried uninstalling and re-installing. Somewhere on here another post said it was b/c there was no download or expansion but I get the same when I build, or buy a house that is “remade”. Also, when I paint the walls or put down new floors it always looks the same, red blinking walls and blue floors with black dots. I am using the “Double Deluxe” with the Kea Home Furnishings expansion so I don’t think it should still be doing this. It’s starting to get on my nerves because I can’t stand to play the game with those blinking red walls. What do I do?
