What happens to watertight rooms when a ship sinks?
nekohakase asked:
Many huge carriers like the Yamato, or other notable ships that have sunk over the years boast “watertight” rooms. What happens to those rooms when the ship sinks? Do they implode because of pressure, or are they still there, air and watertight, like a capsule at the bottom of the ocean?
