    yes, my brother is a cop. you can also get nailed if your in a bar with your parents and you are 18. Because you are considered an adult and your parents can’t be your guardian.

    Yes, alchohol is dangerous and this other minor should have refused. The reason you got charged was because, your underage to buy or use alcohol, and whomever was dealing it to you’s a retard.

    Yes you can in most jurisdictions. You are inducing someone else to break the law. A possible exception is where an underage spouse provides you with liquor but that depends on the state law. Parents can also provide liquor to their children but this normally only applies to the family home.

    If it is in relation to a party in your house you may also be charged with allowing underage drinking in a premises under your control. This provision is used in some states with regards to underage drinking parties. You would be well advised to speak with your lawyer. It is an offence in all US States and Washington DC to provide alcohol to minors even if you are a minor.
